Nathalie Bergon, Deputy Convenor

Nathalie has been involved in animal advocacy for as long as she can remember and has always had a deep connection with our fellow earthlings. She was first introduced to the concept of animal rights at University in an 'Ethics and Environment' class. It changed her life. She was already vegetarian from the age of 14 after watching a documentary on cows but this class solidified her values of compassionate living in all aspects of her life.

She is astonished and inspired by the amazing progress that the vegan movement has been able to achieve in the last 20 years. What a transformation! She believes that long-lasting, sustainable change will come from amending laws in favour of a kinder world and joined the Animal Justice Party in 2021.
