Animal Justice Party Western Australia

Australia's only political party dedicated to protecting all animals

The Animal Justice Party (AJP) was formed in response to the growing number of Australians who feel strongly that much more needs to be done through the parliamentary system to assist the wellbeing of animals.

The AJP believes there is a need for laws that recognise animals’ needs, capabilities and interests, whether that's farm animals, our native wildlife or beloved pets.

As a political party, our role is to run in council, state and federal elections and to ensure laws are created and enforced to achieve genuine justice for animals.

With three Members of Parliament and two Councillors elected, the Party is already taking huge steps forward for animals, holding the government to account, and introducing bills and motions to end animal cruelty. With the 2025 election of Amanda Dorn to the WA Legislative Council, voters are now clearly telling the government that animals matter!

Help Elect an Animal Justice Party MP

Donate now to give animals the voice they desperately need.

We’ve seen the incredible impact Animal Justice Party MPs have had in other states.

Our MPs in Victoria and NSW have outlawed puppy farming, banned forced smoking and swim experiments on animals, reformed animal sexual abuse laws, secured tens of millions of dollars for animal rescue organisations and community groups, overhauled animal protection legislation, passed a motion to introduce 'Veticare', led parliamentary inquiries on wildlife road strike, brumby shooting, the veterinary crisis, pig gassing and confinement, and so much more.....

With your help, we can do the same in WA.

This campaign is powered entirely by people like you. Your contribution will directly fund:

✔️ Nominating candidates in key seats
✔️ Social media campaigns to spread our message
✔️ Essential materials like flyers, signs, and voter guides

Please donate today and help give animals the voice they desperately need.

Donations of up to $1,500 per annum may be tax deductible. Donors who contribute $2,600 or more during a financial year will need to be declared to the WA Electoral Commission.
