Western Australia has a vet shortage crisis and it isn’t just creating animal welfare issues - it’s driving up prices and placing unimaginable pressure on vets to work overtime, unsupported. Veticare is our solution.

Just like we can visit our doctor with a Medicare card, Veticare creates public clinics allowing for free or low-cost appointments.

It upskills vet nurses into nurse practitioners, allowing them to take on minor procedures, medication prescription and treatments including assessment of wildlife - freeing up the time of vets to take on other appointments.

It means that we can improve access, cost, and availability of proper healthcare for all pets and wildlife while ensuring the retention of both vets and nurses within the sector.
