Sarah Szmekura-Moor for Perth

Sarah Szmekura-Moor is proud to represent the Animal Justice Party in the Federal electorate of Perth in the ancient country of the Whadjuk Nyoongar people. Sarah joined the Animal Justice Party in this year, and first became involved as a volunteer in 2021. She became a member with the launch of the AJP WA Youth Wing, where she serves as deputy chair. She is the owner of a small business called The Vegan Fox where she creates grazing tables and just started a full time position as a travel consultant.

Sarah has always striven to help animals with advocacy. In 2017 this became a reality. She started cooking several dishes for a plant-based volunteer dinner event at Earth Wise in Subiaco. The point of these dinners was to raise funds for different animal related charities and each event was an amazing success. Sarah believes that with the aid of politics and education there can be unity to bring justice to animals.

Sarah's priorities for Federal Government are to end the cruel live export trade, find safer ways to help wildlife and no longer harm introduced species, support plant-based food technology with subsidies and research & development funding, help Australian farmers transition to more kind and sustainable industries, and increase national action on climate change for a better future for all.

Donate to get Sarah Elected! 

Contesting elections is a costly exercise - it's a $2000 fee per candidate to get on the ballot paper and then there are advertising and printing costs! We estimate it will cost us a minimum of $5k to cover candidate fees, advertising and printing for Sarah's campaign. We'd love to double or triple that to give her the best chance of being elected to represent AJP in the House of Representatives.
