I’m Liz, and I am standing in the 2025 WA State Election to be a strong political voice for animals. For as long as I can remember, I have spoken out against cruelty and injustice—because no animal should suffer at the hands of humans.

Throughout my life, I have volunteered in shelters, supported animal charities both in Australia and overseas, and witnessed firsthand the beauty of animals in their natural habitat. But I have also seen heartbreaking suffering — dogs bred for profit and discarded, neglected animals left without care, and industries that put profit before welfare. It’s time to demand real change to end this cruelty.

Education is key to creating a kinder world. I will push for greater awareness around responsible pet ownership, the vital role animals play in our families, communities, and even healthcare, and stronger animal welfare protections. At the same time, I will fight to end cruel practices, including puppy farming — ensuring breeding for profit at the expense of animal welfare is abolished once and for all.

I also understand the broader economic and community impact of changes in animal-related industries. I will listen, collaborate, and work with the community and businesses, ensuring that we create solutions that protect animals while supporting sustainable industries — because animal welfare must always come first.

Elizabeth's Key Priorities in this Election Include:

• Ending puppy farming and backyard breeding to stop the exploitation of dogs for profit, and protect mother dogs from a life of suffering.
• Stronger penalties for animal cruelty, including lifetime bans for those who abuse or mistreat animals.
• Expanding education on animal welfare, ensuring all communities understand responsible pet ownership and ethical treatment of animals.
• Protecting wildlife and habitats to preserve WA’s incredible biodiversity and ensure wild animals can thrive in their natural environment.
