Penelope Hall - Candidate for Mindarie

I’m Penny, and I am standing as a candidate for Mindarie with the Animal Justice Party because animals need a strong political voice. For too long, major parties have ignored their suffering, and real change will only come when compassionate leaders fight for them in Parliament.

With a lifelong commitment to social justice, I have dedicated my career to caring for others—working as a disability support worker, medical receptionist, practice manager, nutritionist, and enrolled nurse. Now, I am turning my focus to political advocacy to create a better future for animals, people, and the environment.

"A society is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable, and that must include animals. We have a responsibility to protect them from cruelty and exploitation, and I won’t stop fighting until their voices are heard."

I am particularly motivated by the world my grandchildren will inherit. I envision a future where animals are respected, not exploited, where homelessness and inequality are addressed, and where governments make decisions based on compassion, sustainability, and justice.

Delia's Key Priorities in this Election Include:

• Veticare for WA, providing subsidised veterinary care to ensure companion animals and wildlife do not have to go without critical care. 
• Promoting sustainable food systems that benefit animals, people, and the planet.
• Ending greyhound racing in Western Australia immediately.
